As Paul brings his argument about the sin of both Jews and Gentiles, he presents an undeniable case of the sinfulness of all humanity. No matter who you are, no matter where you're from, where you grew up or what your nationality may be - you have sinned and are guilty before God. Paul presents this case clearly and undeniably throughout this section of Romans. Despite our guilt of sin before God; Jesus alone offers release and real freedom from your sin. Every single person must respond in faith to Jesus, he alone can make you right with God, he alone offers forgiveness and freedom from your sin. Jesus alone is our hope! He is your only hope today.

Throughout Romans, Paul offers a defense of what he believes and teachers about the gospel for these believers in Rome he has not yet met. Some of them may have been questioning him, his message and how it relates to Judaism. Paul writes to explain at length the connection of Jesus, the gospel and defend it, in spite of the rejection of Jesus as the Jewish Messiah by many Jews.
