In this session of You Asked for It, we address three questions: 

- How does the OT Law affect us as believers, what is its purpose?

- Why is there so much information about the sacrifices and the sacrificial system?  

- What is the significance of Zion throughout Scripture? 

The law is not to govern what we do or the manner in which we do it as believers, but it certainly does communicate the will of God and Jesus obeyed the law and stated that he did not come to abolish it but fulfill it. It is unwise for believers to decide that the law has no bearing or influence in life. 

The sacrifices are so significant because Jesus is the perfect and once for all sacrifice for our sins.  

Zion is important because it speaks to the place where God dwells and the connection that his people, follower of Jesus, have to him.
