The Song of Solomon or Song of Songs, as it is described in the Hebrew Bible, is a poem that speaks to the beauty and sanctity of the marriage relationship. It speaks to the importance of God-glorifying marriage relationships, relationships that are characterized by: gentle communication, intimacy, emotional connection, companionship, integrity, trust, respect, security, a readiness to forgive and a shared perspective about life and living it together. God-glorifying marriage is intended to be a pursuit of your spouse, as God passionately loves and pursue his people.  By God's grace our marriages and relationships can be characterized by these God-glorifying qualities.

The You Asked for It! servies came from questions asked by our congregation.  We're attempting to answer them from the Bible and allow the Word of God to shape our thinking on these important issues.
