As Peter continues to describe the false teachers, he states here that their judgment is certain. They will stand before God in judgment and give account. Peter uses four examples to verify this truth. God can keep the righteous and will punish those who reject him!

In his letter, likely to the same group to which he wrote 1 Peter, Peter encourages believers to continue to grow in their understanding of their faith and to live it out daily. The grace of God available through Jesus truly transforms and empowers believers to live rightly, even when facing opposition.
