The preacher brings the many examples of Hebrews 11 to a culmination here by calling his hearers and us to endure and look to Jesus alone. He pictures living life as running a race and calls believers to faithfully run the race of life with endurance, firmly focused on Jesus! By God's grace, we can endure and faithfully live to magnify the glory of Jesus.

Though the author of Hebrews is unknown, the writer offers instruction about Jesus; his person, his work and truth that he is better than angels, Moses, priests and any feature of the old covenant. Jesus is Supreme and Sufficient for believers! Our salvation is secured through his sacrificial work for us. As followers, we can rest in the provision of Jesus for us and we must persevere and encourage others to remain faithful to him.
