The preacher continues to explain the significance of Jesus as our great High Priest. He continues to focus on the sanctuary, the sacrifice of Jesus and the new/better covenant. The sacrifice of Jesus is not only sufficient, it is the only means of real inward cleansing and freedom to worship and serve God.

Though the author of Hebrews is unknown, the writer offers instruction about Jesus; his person, his work and truth that he is better than angels, Moses, priests and any feature of the old covenant. Jesus is Supreme and Sufficient for believers! Our salvation is secured through his sacrificial work for us. As followers, we can rest in the provision of Jesus for us and we must persevere and encourage others to remain faithful to him.
