The preacher of Hebrews continues his explanation that Jesus is better than the angels with this climax in verses 10-18. God, the Son, became a man and experienced every aspect of temptation, trial, suffering and endured all perfectly. He fulfilled the plan of God completely. Because of his death, Jesus fulfills the plan of God to rescue humanity from sin and bring many sons to glory. Ultimately, Jesus became a man to identify with and die for you, so that he could be your faithful high priest! 

Though the author of Hebrews is unknown, the writer offers instruction about Jesus; his person, his work and truth that he is better than angels, Moses, priests and any feature of the old covenant. Jesus is Supreme and Sufficient for believers! Our salvation is secured through his sacrificial work for us. As followers, we can rest in the provision of Jesus for us and we must persevere and encourage others to remain faithful to him.
