The Psalmist throughout compares the immeasurable value of our God verses the gods of the nations.  Our God is in the heavens, at work, controlling, sustaining all he has created! Because of this reality - you can trust him; but more than that you must rely on him alone.  As human beings, we are so prone to rely on almost everything else: positions, relationships, possessions, ambitions, etc.  We are called to rely on and worship our God alone! 

The Psalms offer an incredible look at our great God: his faithfulness, his covenant love, his wisdom and power!  They also present to us the responses of humanity to God: thanksgiving, praise, worship, trust, obedience and even sorrow due to our circumstances.  The Psalms offer us a rich source of comfort, hope, and faith our all-powerful God who is Creator of all, above all and sustaining all!  May these messages bring you hope, comfort and confidence in the only source of real assurance - Yahweh, God over All!
