Unfortunately, opposition and hardship are a regular part of the human existence.  David, here in Psalm 41, cries out about his enemies and those that oppose him.  He calls out the Lord to show his grace to him in the face of this opposition.  This is a lament Psalm but reminds us that our foundation must be our reliance on God, on his faithfulness and his commitment to those who are his. We can rest confidently in the assurance that God cannot and will not fail us.

The Psalms offer an incredible look at our great God: his faithfulness, his covenant love, his wisdom and power!  They also present to us the responses of humanity to God: thanksgiving, praise, worship, trust, obedience and even sorrow due to our circumstances.  The Psalms offer us a rich source of comfort, hope, and faith our all-powerful God who is Creator of all, above all and sustaining all!  May these messages bring you hope, comfort and confidence in the only source of real assurance - Yahweh, God over All!
