David writes here to give the righteous, those who are the people of God, practical instructions for responding to the seeming injustice of the prosperity of the wicked.  The natural human response is to look at others and from our very limited perspective assume they are enjoying life and prosperity so much more than we are as believers and yet David warns us not to get caught in that trap.  The wicked will inherit the judgment and justice of God, they will give account for their wickedness!  The righteous must rest in the reality that the just God of all will care for them and reward them accordingly one day.

The Psalms offer an incredible look at our great God: his faithfulness, his covenant love, his wisdom and power!  They also present to us the responses of humanity to God: thanksgiving, praise, worship, trust, obedience and even sorrow due to our circumstances.  The Psalms offer us a rich source of comfort, hope, and faith our all-powerful God who is Creator of all, above all and sustaining all!  May these messages bring you hope, comfort and confidence in the only source of real assurance - Yahweh, God over All!
