A Psalm of the Cross

October 11, 2020 Speaker: pastor dave Series: The Psalms

Topic: Crucifixion, Psalms, 1-PM Sermons Passage: Psalm 22:1–31

David writes about his own struggles and prophecies of the sufferings of Jesus.  The apostles and the gospel accounts help us to understand the connection of Psalm 22 to Jesus.  Jesus suffered for your sins; he will not abandon you in your hardships!

The Psalms offer an incredible look at our great God: his faithfulness, his covenant love, his wisdom and power!  They also present to us the responses of humanity to God: thanksgiving, praise, worship, trust, obedience and even sorrow due to our circumstances.  The Psalms offer us a rich source of comfort, hope, and faith our all-powerful God who is Creator of all, above all and sustaining all!  May these messages bring you hope, comfort and confidence in the only source of real assurance - Yahweh, God over All!
