The author of Psalm 18 commemorates the faithfulness of God in delivering David throughout his life.  Thanksgiving is given because God is my rock, my fortress, my deliverer, my God, my shield, the horn of my salvation and my stronghold!  No psalm gives more an emphasis on all of the characteristics of God toward his people!  Our God is powerful and able to deliver us - but most of all, he is near - he with us.  You can trust him today, no matter what you're facing!

The Psalms offer an incredible look at our great God: his faithfulness, his covenant love, his wisdom and power!  They also present to us the responses of humanity to God: thanksgiving, praise, worship, trust, obedience and even sorrow due to our circumstances.  The Psalms offer us a rich source of comfort, hope, and faith our all-powerful God who is Creator of all, above all and sustaining all!  May these messages bring you hope, comfort and confidence in the only source of real assurance - Yahweh, God over All!
