As followers of God, our safety and our security is not found in what we have or where we live; it is found in God himself!  We can confidently pray for protection and be assured help and a glorious future with God. No matter what happens, no matter what comes in this life, our God is able to keep us.  We are the apple of his eye, this colloquialism means we are like the pupil and for most people they are very careful to protect their pupil.  It allows them to see and function effectively - so we all protect the pupil of our eye.  You are like the pupil of God's eye and he will protect you, he will shield you and you rest securely like a baby chick under the shadow of its mother's wing.   

The Psalms offer an incredible look at our great God: his faithfulness, his covenant love, his wisdom and power!  They also present to us the responses of humanity to God: thanksgiving, praise, worship, trust, obedience and even sorrow due to our circumstances.  The Psalms offer us a rich source of comfort, hope, and faith our all-powerful God who is Creator of all, above all and sustaining all!  May these messages bring you hope, comfort and confidence in the only source of real assurance - Yahweh, God over All!
