This Psalm begins with the wicked, describing their lying tongues, their lack of integrity and untrustworthy nature of their actions and interactions.  In contrast, our God can be trusted and his words are absolutely certain!  If God promises, commits; he will always do it! So for believers, in a world that honors the wicked, the word of God alone can be trusted and we can rest in that reality!

The Psalms offer an incredible look at our great God: his faithfulness, his covenant love, his wisdom and power!  They also present to us the responses of humanity to God: thanksgiving, praise, worship, trust, obedience and even sorrow due to our circumstances.  The Psalms offer us a rich source of comfort, hope, and faith our all-powerful God who is Creator of all, above all and sustaining all!  May these messages bring you hope, comfort and confidence in the only source of real assurance - Yahweh, God over All!
