David, the Psalmist, writes and offers the praise and thanks that he states he will give to God in Psalm 7:17!  God is worthy of our worship because he is king over all, he is sovereign over his creation. Despite his exalted position, God still loves humanity and demonstrates that love most clearly through the work of Jesus on the cross!  The author of Hebrews quotes Psalm 8 in Hebrews 2:6-8a.  Jesus is exalted and he is worthy of our praise because there is no man like him - he is God and he took on human flesh so that he could rescue us from sin!  God is worthy of our praise!  Magnify the Lord!

The Psalms offer an incredible look at our great God: his faithfulness, his covenant love, his wisdom and power!  They also present to us the responses of humanity to God: thanksgiving, praise, worship, trust, obedience and even sorrow due to our circumstances.  The Psalms offer us a rich source of comfort, hope, and faith our all-powerful God who is Creator of all, above all and sustaining all!  May these messages bring you hope, comfort and confidence in the only source of real assurance - Yahweh, God over All!
