The Psalmist begins with a call for God to hear and answer his prayer, but as the Psalm continues we see clearly the confident peace that comes to those who trust in God!  David makes the point that the righteous can rejoice in God’s protection because it gives peace and security even in the face of trouble and opposition.

The Psalms offer an incredible look at our great God: his faithfulness, his covenant love, his wisdom and power!  They also present to us the responses of humanity to God: thanksgiving, praise, worship, trust, obedience and even sorrow due to our circumstances.  The Psalms offer us a rich source of comfort, hope, and faith our all-powerful God who is Creator of all, above all and sustaining all!  May these messages bring you hope, comfort and confidence in the only source of real assurance - Yahweh, God over All!
