Paul continues to write to the believers in Thessalonica and asks them to pray for the mission team that mininstered among them and is likely now ministering in Corinth!  He also reminds them of the faithfulness of God and the impact that it should have in our lives as believers.  Because our God is Faithful, we must consistently obey the instruction given to us through the Word!

Throughout the letters to the Thessalonians, Paul writes to encourage these believers through his pastoral words of comfort, instruction and exhortation.  He writes of his relationship and love for the church; he encourages them to grow in their faith, to increase in their love for God and one another and to hope in the God who controls not just their future but their present circumstances.
