David here in Psalm 3 is running from Absalom who is attempting to take the kingdom from David!  David begins the Psalm with Lament and struggle, which all of us can identify with in his circumstance, but David finishes the Psalm with absolute trust in God!  Do you trust God, no matter what your circumstances may be?

The Psalms offer an incredible look at our great God: his faithfulness, his covenant love, his wisdom and power!  They also present to us the responses of humanity to God: thanksgiving, praise, worship, trust, obedience and even sorrow due to our circumstances.  The Psalms offer us a rich source of comfort, hope, and faith our all-powerful God who is Creator of all, above all and sustaining all!  May these messages bring you hope, comfort and confidence in the only source of real assurance - Yahweh, God over All!
