Paul continues to address the claims and issues related to the false apostles stirring up the believers against him in Corinth.  He again addresses the reality that authentic ministry is not based on visions or revelations, but on the sufficient grace of God!   Our boasts are worthless apart from the work of God in our lives!!!

Throughout 2 Corinthians Paul addresses the impact of suffering on ministry, life and the message; the complexity of human relationships at times - the suffering they can cause and the joy of being reconciled when we obey and follow the guidance of the Spirit in our lives.
