Paul begins this new section of 2 Corinthians by reminding the Corinthian believers that the weapons we use as believers are not flesh-centered, man-focused methods or idealogies.  Instead, the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, they are powerful and capable of pulling down enormous strongholds/fortresses.  For us, Paul encourages us that our spiritual arsenal is more than sufficient for the hardships, trials or opposition that we face as believers!

Throughout 2 Corinthians Paul addresses the impact of suffering on ministry, life and the message; the complexity of human relationships at times - the suffering they can cause and the joy of being reconciled when we obey and follow the guidance of the Spirit in our lives.
