The resurrection of Jesus and the scene set by John demonstrates the reality and the significance of the risen Christ!  His death and burial did not finish the story!  Jesus rose on Sunday morning to the shock and disbelief of his own followers!  The question for us today is still - do you believe?

Throughout the Gospel of John we see the truth that Jesus is the promised one, the anointed one from God through his signs, witnesses, and statements; and he has come to rescue humanity from sin!
