Judas, one of the twelve, trusted with the money bag for the group.  Jesus declares that one in the group will betray him, the group wonders who it could possibly be.  They did not imagine it could be Judas, but Judas was a Traitor.  He was committed to his own passions, greed and ambition.  

Jesus declares after Judas leaves that true believers are committed to the glory of Jesus and the love of one another.  As a genuine follower of Jesus, our passion and focus must also be the glory of Jesus and love for one another!

Throughout the Gospel of John we see the truth that Jesus is the promised one, the anointed one from God through his signs, witnesses, and statements; and he has come to rescue humanity from sin!
