Paul gives clear instruction for giving in the church.  He explains that each individual should participate in giving, intentionally, regularly, and according to the blessing and provision of God.  Giving is a vital part of our worship!

As Paul writes to the church of Corinth, he is challenging the Corinthians to remember the ownership of the Lord Jesus in their lives and to live accordingly.  He calls them to grow up in their understanding of the gospel by maturing in their unity with one another and their own personal purity that must define genuine believers.
