Jesus is God, the true Messiah - the sent one from God, and he calls his sheep to follow him!  He is leading the sheep, guiding their lives and caring for them.  Still some refuse to see Jesus for who he really is - one with the Father, God incarnate!  It is not what some expected and therefore they could not overcome their own personal bias and preconceptions to see Jesus for all that he was: the Word come in flesh to dwell among us!

Throughout the Gospel of John we see the truth that Jesus is the promised one, the anointed one from God through his signs, witnesses, and statements; and he has come to rescue humanity from sin!
