Jesus focuses, in part, on the differences between the failed leaders and the Good Shepherd.  Jesus is the Good Shepherd that gives his life for the sheep.  He calls the sheep to follow him, to trust him with all of our lives.  No matter what you are facing, no matter your circumstances - you can trust the Good Shepherd!

Throughout the Gospel of John we see the truth that Jesus is the promised one, the anointed one from God through his signs, witnesses, and statements; and he has come to rescue humanity from sin!
