Paul continues the discussion of Tongues and Prophecy in 1 Corinthians 14.  He continues to make the point that tongues are of no value without an interpretation so that the meaning is clearly understood.  Paul's goal is that the church at Corinth understands that tongues are not effective if there is no one to give the interpretation so that all can understand the meaning of what is spoken.

As Paul writes to the church of Corinth, he is challenging the Corinthians to remember the ownership of the Lord Jesus in their lives and to live accordingly.  He calls them to grow up in their understanding of the gospel by maturing in their unity with one another and their own personal purity that must define genuine believers.
