Jesus meets a woman at a well while traveling.  He has a conversation with her, she believes and many in her town believe in Jesus.  John records this account to again demonstrate that Jesus is God, but He came in the form of man to redeem us.

Throughout the Gospel of John we see the truth that Jesus is the promised one, the anointed one from God through his signs, witnesses, and statements; and he has come to rescue humanity from sin!
