As we begin a new year, it is imperative that we continue to focus on God's Purpose for the Church!  As Paul writes to a young pastor Timothy, he reminds him of the purpose and conduct that is to characterize the church of Jesus.  The focus of the church must be on Jesus Christ because of all he is and all he has done for his people through his life, his death and resurrection; we can be rescued from our sins!  As a body, we must keep the focus on Jesus and allow our lives to be transformed to point others to Jesus.  May God give you grace in this New Year to make much of Jesus!
