An angel comes to the shepherds as they watch their sheep at night and announces to them the birth of Jesus, the Promise One from God - Messiah.  Initially, terrified by the light and the angel, the shepherds hear the message and then the praise from the vast heavenly army of angels rejoicing together at the birth of Jesus! 

The message and praise of the angels to God for his gift of salvation and redemption remind us as believers of the praise and worship God is worthy of for rescuing us from our sin!  God is worthy of your praise for sending Jesus – the Savior, Messiah and Lord into the world to rescue you from sin!
