As we conclude several weeks of focusing on the first coming of Jesus and some of its very appropriate application of His second coming, we look at a passage that actually addresses the question, is Jesus really coming again?  There are those who mock our Savior and the realities of His death and resurrection.  They also mock the reality that He will come again.  Peter is writing to encourage the believers, who have been scattered because of persecution, to be faithful and remember that Jesus will indeed return!
