Rebuilding Together is a national organization that seeks to help maintain neighborhoods by doing work on homes of those who cannot afford afford or cannot physically do this type of work personally.

On two April Saturdays each year, approximately 1,000 skilled and unskilled volunteers join together to make repairs to about 20 homes in a selected St. Joseph County neighborhood. All repairs are completed at no cost to the homeowner.

Any adult (under 18 requires adult supervision) can volunteer to assist in rehabilitating Rebuilding.Together_cropped-PrimaryLogo_Stackedhomes. No particular home repair skills are required. Volunteers need only come ready to work from approximately 8:00am until the home is completed mid-afternoon.

Rebuilding Together of St. Joe County will provide all the tools and supplies needed and will provide breakfast and lunch.

If 5 or more of us volunteer together, we can be assigned a house to work on as a group instead of being assigned as individuals. Please let Simon know you are in and he will register our group on Wednesday, April 24.
