Often people hold angels in high regard, but the author of Hebrews wants us to understand that Jesus is better than angels. Jesus is supreme, even above the angels of God - in truth, they worship him! Because Jesus is better than angels, we must worship him, obey him and continue to faithfully follow him. By God's grace, we can continue to grow in our understanding of Jesus and our commitment to faithfully follow him.

Though the author of Hebrews is unknown, the writer offers instruction about Jesus; his person, his work and truth that he is better than angels, Moses, priests and any feature of the old covenant. Jesus is Supreme and Sufficient for believers! Our salvation is secured through his sacrificial work for us. As followers, we can rest in the provision of Jesus for us and we must persevere and encourage others to remain faithful to him.
