John again demonstrates the deity of Jesus by showing that even in his death, he still is in control of the circumstances.  He died when all was fulfilled!  John continues to point out the fulfillment of Scripture in the death of Jesus.  He was pierced for us, the Lamb slain for our sins!  Again, John brings us to the question - do you believe?

Throughout the Gospel of John we see the truth that Jesus is the promised one, the anointed one from God through his signs, witnesses, and statements; and he has come to rescue humanity from sin!
