The Choice before you: Moses' Final Invitation

Deuteronomy is an amazing book that expresses its message through the preaching of Moses (the words of Moses, Deut. 1:1) to the people of Israel before he dies. These are his parting words to them. Moses calls them first to understand their history. Moses then calls them to understand and obey the law. Moses concludes with a strong admonition to obey, with the understanding that obedience brings blessing and disobedience brings curses. Deuteronomy is a clear call to make a choice about Yahweh; you too must decide to hear and obey his words.
