Advent 2025

In the prologue of the gospel of John, John takes us from the beginning of all things – a time at which the Word already existed – to the incarnation (coming in the flesh) of the Son of God, the Word. The Word came into the world, bringing life and light with him. In his coming, we see his glory – a glory that only the Son of God could display. In his coming, he reveals God to humanity; Jesus shows us what God is like. As Paul affirms, all the fullness of God dwells in Jesus. Through Jesus, God has given grace and truth to humanity. The first advent of Jesus richly provides everything we need for a relationship with God.
