The Psalms are an extraordinary collection of Songs, Hymns and Prayers from the people of God declaring his marvelous attributes, his mighty works and the devotion that they feel for God as they increasingly come to understand all he does.  On Sunday night, we took a few minutes and did a fly over of the entire book of Psalms.  We looked at a variety of facets about the book that help us to better understand the Psalms as we read them personally and study them corporately.  We discussed the different authors, the difference between Hebrew and English poetry, the various themes of the Psalms, the character and attributes of God throughout the Psalms and ultimately the responses we see throughout.  You can access all of the information we covered on Sunday night here.  We trust this will be a blessing and help to you in your personal study of the Word of God.  Most importantly, we trust that you are responding to God.
